Emily is originally from a tiny town in upstate New York. She graduated from SUNY Delhi’s Veterinary Technology program in 2009. She worked as a licensed veterinary technician for seven years in a sizeable mixed-animal practice in New York, where she developed her passion for emergency medicine. In 2017, she found herself as an LVT in Roanoke, Virginia, for a year, and then she was at Bon Air Animal Hospital in Richmond in 2018. She is very excited to be a part of the journey at IVC. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends when not at work. She enjoys camping and hiking as well. She has a boxer mix, Fancy, and two cats, Gertrude & Leif.
